Summary

Thanks to Lady Farnese's selfless sacrifice， Guts， the Black Swordsman， and the rest of his companions are free to carry on their journey aboard the ship of Farnese's brother， Magnifico — that is， if they're willing to leave Farnese behind。 But having to choose between their mission and their loyalties might not be a problem for long if the Kushan emperor and his legion of monstrous minions have their way。 With a host of Kushan forces descending on Vritannis， there might not be much left of Farnese's family — or any of the citizenry — to worry about！

30 volumes in Berserk is still great， I thoroughly enjoy each volume。 And I acknowledge once an ending is in sight it can effect the rest of the story but it’s the simple appeal of somebody struggling against life trying to box them into a role that I enjoy seeing again and again no matter how often the beats can be repeated。I am always in awe of Guts overpowering everyone else in a fight and his capsule disregard for “normalcy” or the notions of people who are determined to make the decisions o 30 volumes in Berserk is still great， I thoroughly enjoy each volume。 And I acknowledge once an ending is in sight it can effect the rest of the story but it’s the simple appeal of somebody struggling against life trying to box them into a role that I enjoy seeing again and again no matter how often the beats can be repeated。I am always in awe of Guts overpowering everyone else in a fight and his capsule disregard for “normalcy” or the notions of people who are determined to make the decisions of those in their command。30 volumes in and I still love it this much。5 Stars。 。。。more

Esse volume foi excelente na porradaria！Aqui Guts e galera conseguem encontrar Farnese。 Após decidir voltar para o grupo todos fogem， em companhia de Magnífico， irmão de Farnese e também de seu noivo， Roderick。 Isso logo após um ataque de demônios no meio da festa da realeza。A cidade é rapidamente atacada por mais demônios e agora todo o grupo foge para conseguir resgatar o navio de Roderick。

We get back into the action here。 Guts comes back in and saves the day。 You’d like that maybe that would get old， Guts always saving everyone else， but for some reason it doesn’t。 I instead find myself smiling when the ‘everyone else’ always exclaims over him being able to swing his massive sword。 I guess because I am so invested in him， I love it when he shows everyone he’s stronger than he looks。 And it’s true not just physically but also mentally。 Guts has put up with hell， literally。 But he’ We get back into the action here。 Guts comes back in and saves the day。 You’d like that maybe that would get old， Guts always saving everyone else， but for some reason it doesn’t。 I instead find myself smiling when the ‘everyone else’ always exclaims over him being able to swing his massive sword。 I guess because I am so invested in him， I love it when he shows everyone he’s stronger than he looks。 And it’s true not just physically but also mentally。 Guts has put up with hell， literally。 But he’s still kicking。 In my book that makes him one hell of a character。 I will say that this arc is not as intense as previous arcs but it’s still good enough to keep me happy。 :） Still recommended！ 。。。more

This was the volume that I got burned out on Nd quit reading for a year or so。 Pretty great， but my limit was 29 volumes in a row。 It kind of felt like it started repeating itself and the story was meandering。 Good to pick up after a year though。

Bueno no puede decirse que este sea el mejor tomo de Berserk para nada。 No es malo ni por asomo， pero se pierde demasiado tiempo en una situación que a esta altura ya es algo predecible que no va a llevar a mucho， sino más bien sirve como transición， pero una transición muy larga。 De todas formas ha sido gratificante ver cómo los personajes han evolucionado manteniendo su esencia al mismo tiempo， las peleas como siempre son un espectáculo en cuanto a coreografías y dibujos。Berserk ha cambiado mu Bueno no puede decirse que este sea el mejor tomo de Berserk para nada。 No es malo ni por asomo， pero se pierde demasiado tiempo en una situación que a esta altura ya es algo predecible que no va a llevar a mucho， sino más bien sirve como transición， pero una transición muy larga。 De todas formas ha sido gratificante ver cómo los personajes han evolucionado manteniendo su esencia al mismo tiempo， las peleas como siempre son un espectáculo en cuanto a coreografías y dibujos。Berserk ha cambiado mucho， pero porque su protagonista y su antagonista han cambiado; los objetivos de ambos son diferentes， si bien Guts todavía nada en busca de vengarse， sus prioridades son otras。 Por esto el tono del manga se siente muy diferente a cómo comenzó， porque Guts está aprendiendo a confiar en los demás， a valorarlos， cosa que el Guts del principio jamás habría hecho。 。。。more

The introduction of the tigers was very well executed， being paced and framed like a horror movie。 And the action that followed was pretty great （as was the fight with Serpico）。 It feels like getting to the confrontation with Ganishka was kind of rushed， but it had to be done right now since Guts is about to leave the mainland。
